Portrait Session Policies

Welcome to Ana’s CameraWork.
Thank you for choosing us to capture meaningful moments through outdoor portrait photography. These policies are designed to provide a smooth, professional, and enjoyable experience for every client.

Ana’s CameraWork is based in Eagle Mountain, Utah, and specializes in outdoor portrait photography for seniors, couples, maternity, and families.


Booking & Session Reservation

A portrait session is considered reserved once the appointment has been scheduled through our booking page or directly with Ana’s CameraWork.

At this time, online bookings do not require full prepayment. Payment arrangements will be confirmed before or after the session depending on the service selected.

Ana’s CameraWork reserves the right to decline or cancel appointments when necessary due to scheduling conflicts, emergencies, unsafe weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.

Our portrait sessions are designed to create relaxed, natural, and timeless images in outdoor environments.

Current session offerings may include:

  • Deluxe Portrait Sessions

  • Ultimate Portrait Sessions

  • Senior Portraits

  • Maternity Sessions

  • Couples Sessions

  • Family Portraits

Travel Fees

Outdoor photography often requires travel to parks, trails, lakes, or other natural locations.

Travel fees may apply for locations over 25 miles from Eagle Mountain, Utah.

Additional travel costs, parking fees, permits, or location entrance fees are the responsibility of the client unless otherwise agreed in writing.


Rescheduling & Cancellations

Clients may reschedule or cancel appointments up to 24 hours before the scheduled session time.

Outdoor sessions may occasionally need to be rescheduled due to:

  • Severe weather

  • Rain or snow conditions

  • Unsafe wind conditions

  • Wildfire smoke

  • Extreme temperatures

  • Environmental closures or restrictions

If weather conditions affect the quality or safety of the session, Ana’s CameraWork will work with the client to select a new date whenever possible.

No-shows or cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may not be eligible for priority rescheduling.


Session Experience

Our goal is to create a relaxed and personalized photography experience.

Clients are encouraged to:

  • Arrive on time

  • Wear comfortable shoes when appropriate

  • Bring minimal outfit changes for shorter sessions

  • Share inspiration photos or ideas before the session

  • Inform us of any accessibility concerns or special requests

For shorter sessions, we recommend limiting outfit changes in order to maximize photography time.


Artistic Style & Editing

By booking a session with Ana’s CameraWork, clients acknowledge and agree that they are familiar with the artistic and editing style presented on our website, portfolio, and social media.

Final image editing, color grading, cropping, composition, and artistic decisions remain at the photographer’s discretion.

RAW or unedited files are not delivered.

Ana’s CameraWork reserves the right to select the best final images from the session.


Image Delivery

Edited images are delivered digitally through an online gallery or digital delivery method selected by Ana’s CameraWork.

Delivery timelines may vary depending on season, workload, and project complexity.

Typical portrait galleries are delivered within 1–3 weeks unless otherwise communicated.

Clients are encouraged to download and back up their images after delivery.


Prints & Physical Products

Some portrait sessions may include complimentary prints or printed products.

Please note:

  • Colors may vary slightly between screens and printed materials

  • Print appearance may vary depending on paper type and lighting conditions

  • Complimentary prints are selected according to the package description

If a print arrives damaged due to a laboratory or shipping issue, clients should contact us within 7 days of delivery.


Refunds

Photography is a creative service. Because time, preparation, editing, and scheduling are reserved specifically for each client, refunds are generally not offered once a session has been completed.

However, Ana’s CameraWork is committed to professionalism and client care. If a significant technical issue directly caused by the photographer affects the final delivered images, we will work with the client toward a reasonable solution, which may include:

  • Partial refund consideration

  • Re-editing

  • Replacement print

  • Complimentary rescheduled session

Requests related to image style preferences, weather preferences, personal appearance concerns, or subjective artistic taste do not qualify as technical issues.

Promotional or discounted sessions may be non-refundable.


Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Arriving on time

  • Communicating important session information in advance

  • Supervising children during family sessions

  • Obtaining permission for private locations when required

Ana’s CameraWork is not responsible for missed images caused by late arrival, lack of cooperation, unsafe conditions, or restricted access to locations.


Social Media & Portfolio Use

Ana’s CameraWork may share selected images from portrait sessions on:

  • Website portfolio

  • Social media platforms

  • Promotional materials

  • Marketing campaigns

  • Photography competitions or exhibitions

Clients who prefer their images remain private may request this in writing before the session.


Limitation of Liability

While every reasonable effort is made to provide high-quality photography services, Ana’s CameraWork shall not be held responsible for circumstances beyond reasonable control including weather events, equipment failure, illness, natural disasters, environmental conditions, or location restrictions.

In the unlikely event of total photographic failure caused by equipment malfunction or circumstances within the photographer’s control, liability shall be limited to the amount paid by the client.
