I arrived at Big East Lake expecting a familiar scene, but instead found something deeply encouraging—the water level was healthier than during my first visit in 2022. That small yet meaningful change set the tone for the day. We brought our e-bikes and circled the pedestrian trail around the lake, and with my heavy gear in tow, I photographed while my husband fished under the soft, cool sky.
Then the rain came—gentle, steady, transformative. Autumn Rain Reverie reflects the serenity of that moment: droplets dancing on the lake’s surface, autumn trees glowing in gold, and the mountains wrapped in quiet mist. It is a reminder that harmony thrives where conservation and appreciation meet.
