On the date of January 22, 2022, I captured a photograph that he titled "The Best Color of Winter". This particular snapshot was taken in the fishing community of Andy Adam, located in Layton, Utah. When I arrived at the location, I was immediately captivated by the sight of the bushes and trees, which were all decked out in a striking golden-orange hue.
This coloration was the result of the interaction between the sun's rays during sunset and the reflective white surface of the frozen lake. The backdrop for the photograph shows a part of the neighborhood, juxtaposed against the majestic Wasatch Mountain Range, which was dressed in winter gear.
The print of this photo, which he dubbed "Winter Color," embodies the positivity and good mood he felt while capturing this moment. The orange tones that feature prominently in the image have been scientifically proven to instill a sense of independence and creativity, representing the constructive energy of life. In spiritual contexts, the orange represents the fire of God, and its use symbolizes the arrival of a new light.
Only now do I understand what compelled me to take this particular photograph. Every time I look at it, I can't help but feel a sense of joy that permeates the sky, delicately harmonizing with the red surroundings. In essence, this photo is a perfect antidote to any form of depression, encapsulating the warmth and positive energy that is synonymous with the color orange.
