A quiet return to one of Utah’s hidden gems. In this reflective post, I revisit Farmington Bay — a place that helped shape the direction of our photography project and deepened our mission of conservation. With over 15,000 edited images and 50+ lakes explored, this story looks back with gratitude and forward with purpose.
One evening at Farmington Bay turned into a story of 14 quiet moments. Birds, reflections, stillness, and the return of light — this is how it all began.
Before diving into thousands of new images, I returned to where I left off — Farmington Bay. In this post, I share the first four stories from my journey back into Utah’s wild waters: a lone pelican, a posing Killdeer, an observant Osprey, and a moment of reflection sparked by fleeing ducks. Each image is a quiet reminder that beauty often begins in stillness.
