A return to one of Utah’s most powerful landscapes — and a quiet reminder that wild beauty must be protected.

One evening at Farmington Bay turned into a story of 14 quiet moments. Birds, reflections, stillness, and the return of light — this is how it all began.

Before diving into thousands of new images, I returned to where I left off — Farmington Bay. In this post, I share the first four stories from my journey back into Utah’s wild waters: a lone pelican, a posing Killdeer, an observant Osprey, and a moment of reflection sparked by fleeing ducks. Each image is a quiet reminder that beauty often begins in stillness.

I didn’t plan to become a wildlife photographer — I simply followed what moved me. This is why I’m shifting my focus to the birds, animals, and quiet moments that now lead my lens.
